Government Associate Auditor
The Audit Services Division of the Auditor’s Office is seeking highly motivated Government Associate Auditors to perform financial and performance audit assignments. Under the direction of the assigned Audit Supervisor/Manager and Team Lead, the Associate Auditor executes performance and/or financial-related audits and evaluations of local government functions and activities. Associate Auditors perform intermediate-level progressing to standard-level auditing work applying generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards in conducting financial, compliance, and performance audits and other studies of City departments and contract providers.
Government Senior Auditor
The City and County of Denver Auditor’s office is seeking Government Senior Auditors with strong auditing skills and an ability to work independently. Government audit experience is preferred. Under the general direction of the assigned Audit Supervisor and Team Lead, the Senior Auditor executes performance and/or financial-related audits and evaluations of Denver government functions and activities, in addition to other duties assigned.
Contract Compliance Technician
The City and County of Denver Auditor’s Office is seeking a Contract Compliance Technician, supporting the Prevailing Wage Division. In this Prevailing Wage role, this position performs support for investigations, and oversight and monitoring of contract compliance and performance requirements, to include prevailing industry practice for compensation of similar trades, goods and services, and evaluation of overall vendor performance. Monitors contract compliance and/or contract financial performance to verify contract terms, services to be provided, and payment schedules and reviews contract and/or payment process.
Prevailing Wage Analyst
The City and County of Denver Auditor’s office is seeking a Prevailing Wage Analyst. Under the direction of the Denver Labor Administrator and a Lead Prevailing Wage Analyst, this position performs full performance professional level audits, oversight and monitoring of contract compliance for ordinance 20-76.
2021 Professional Auditing Services
This Request for Proposals seeks proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the City and County of Denver’s financial statements for the five fiscal years ending Dec. 31, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2025.
This RFP details the scope of the engagement and the nature of the services required, the reports or other items to be delivered under the engagement, and the format to be used for all proposals in response to this RFP. Proposals are to be submitted electronically through Bidnet Direct. This will be the only acceptable form of submission.
